What Is SpaceID?

Just like ENS, SpaceID is .bnb Naming Service(SID, in short). SPACE ID is building a universal name service network with one Oracle which seamlessly connects people, information, assets, and applications across blockchains. It’s decentralized, censorship-resistant, and open-sourced.

Steps To Mint Your .bnb Domain :

First of all, switch to BNB Chain in your MetaMask wallet.

2. Next, go to app.space.id and click on Connect option in the top right corner.

3. Next, in the search bar type a domain name that you would like to mint and click on Search.

4. If no one has minted that name before, you’ll see available written besides it. Click on Register.

5. Next, select for how much year you want that domain and click on the Request button. Approve transaction in your wallet.

If you don’t have balance in your wallet, you will get a pop up saying to top up your wallet. You’ll need 5–6 Dollars in BNB to mint.

6. Wait for some time. And you’ll get something like this. Click on Register and approve transaction in your wallet.

7. Next, go to your profile and click on Set Your Primary Name option. Select your domain, click on Save option and approve transaction in your wallet.

8. Go to your account and you can see Mint Gift Card option. Press the + button and choose how much gift cards you want. You can use the > button to navigate between $5, $160 and $650 gift cards. I bought a $5 one. Click on the Mint button and approve transaction in your wallet.

9. You can see your Gift Cards by clicking My Gift Card option in your Profile. You can redeem it for yourself by pressing the + button and clicking on Redeem option. You’ll get SID Points according to the amount of gift card bought. Or you can transfer it and gift it to your friends.

10. If you redeem that gift card for yourself, you can use the points to buy domain. Just simply check the SID point check-box option when buying any other domain.

11. Now, complete the tasks and claim these :
